I think that people are confusing God with a “being” who “does stuff” or can do stuff. To say that why didnt God go directly to the Human intellect instead of the circuitous route of Amoeba>animals>homo sapiens etc.. is akin to asking why couldnt an Ocean create the perfect wave everytime? Ocean “seems” to be “creating” the wave.. but is wave any different? Does it have an identity? Wave may start believing so.. but is that how it is? Wave is the ocean water.. without that water there is NO wave.. When the ocean is silent.. there is no wave.. When ocean is in chaos or moving internally .. the waves are created and destroyed…
…. to YOU as the CENTER of your Universe you seem to think that earth should have had Humans first and foremost and that other species were irrelevant.. however, its a difficult thing to prove that the world will be better place without the existence – EVEN NOW – of the amoeba.. algae.. tiger.. birds.. crocodile etc!! Evolution happened.. but did that make the earlier “stages” irrelevant? I dont think so! We at THIS STAGE.. need them AS MUCH as we needed them when we were being evolved!
THEREIN lies the rub! Can the EVOLVED ever be independent of the “EVOLVEE”? If not, then is it really evolution – as in “better”? Or is it just a change into a “different” species?
I believe that when we view ourselves RELATIVE to these species.. we do seem “better” .. but as absolute and independent and alone on this planet… I DONT THINK SO!!!
Evolution, therefore, is a misnomer! When we talk of Evolution .. we are really talking about distinctions within a cosmic whole! A seemingly more complex distinction that the first.. but distinction – and JUST THAT – nevertheless! It does not and CANNOT MEAN better! You may feel so because you are planting yourself as a subject and that arrogance seems so effortlessly a natural fact! Think again!
